Hi, I’m Dan Stalcup.

I am a developer for Excella Consulting, with a focus on .NET/C# web applications.

From 2010-2016, I was a director for Fairfax Collegiate, managing five campus teams constituting about 130 seasonal employees and serving about 1200 students. I also supervised internal software development and curriculum development for several subjects.

I co-founded and edit Earn This, a criticism and discussion site. I host the site’s podcast.

Since 2013, I have been working on LoreGen, a C# tool that procedurally generates fantasy worlds. You can learn more on the LoreGen web site and view the source on my GitHub.

I am an eight-time winner of NaNoWriMo and Camp NaNoWriMo.

I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science in Technology and the University of Virginia, where I studied math, education, and computer science. I was a sports editor and columnist for The Cavalier Daily.
